Leon's computer

I got him a tiny computer. Because it was cute and not very expensive. :x

These are the slippers I wear to work. I can get away with it because I work in a school with small children. I couldn't resist them. They were cute and I'm a sucker for sheep. They are so cute and fluffy. Sorry for spam posting today. They are things I have been wanting to post for a while but didn't want to stick in one post. I still owe you a flower blossom one too but I can't decide which pictures to post from that one and...it was rainy anyway so none are that great.

Disney Sea

During golden week I went to Disney Sea...you are limited to cell phone pictures only unfortunately.

I think this was near the entrance.

The little mermaid themed area was awesome.

Genie is holding a tiny plushie...this is made of flowers.

I really liked the steam punk area too. Journey to the center of the earth was here.

The prince statue in Ariel's secret cave. :D

The inside area from the little mermaid was meant for little kids but I really liked it anyway, it was one of the most visually appealing since it was meant to look like it was underwater.

Another flower sculpture. Duffy and Shellie May.

One more of the steampunk area. There's a car coming out of a cliff.

Matsumoto Craft Festival

Yesterday I went to the craft festival in Matsumoto. It reminds me of the art fairs in America I used to go to. I took some pictures with my cell phone so you could see some of the stranger art pieces. Mostly there was pottery though or wooden bowls and toys.

These are made of metal and are really neat. He had a sign on his table saying Nozomu Shibata- Hope Metal Craft in English. :)

This guy took real rocks and inserted things inside them like tiny cities and eyes and the weirdest one I saw was this one...which has a set of teeth in it. O:

There were all kinds of little animals made with what looked like real woven wool/fur of some kind. Some of them were life sized

There was a blacksmith actually working in a little tent, it was very neat.

Here's some of the blacksmith's work.

I really liked this one. There were thousands of little tiny animals doing various things. Some of them were going up a staircase taller than I am, but I liked the one with the little submarine thing.

Pumpkin Pudding ice cream

I cleaned my room for like four hours today and it doesn't look like a trash heap anymore. My reward was getting to eat at an Indian restaurant and a super wonderful ice cream, Haagen-Dazs pumpkin pudding. The pumpkin flavor is mild but creamy and sweet and it has a bitter sauce mixed in that gives it a bit of bite.

The ice cream.

Leon is hanging out on my couch now cleared of paperwork with his rabbit-pig friends.

It's nice to have a new place to sit.
