Hundred Yen Store

I don't know what to say except that I love 100 yen stores. The food erasers I like had sweets this time so I couldn't resist buying some for Leon. My favorite is the little strawberry cake. One of the only cakes I ever see here. The super light fluffy kind and it always has whipped creamy icing and strawberries or other fruit. Got the little table and chair there too from the gardening section. They're a little small for him but they only cost 100 yen.

I ordered a new camera lens my sister suggested for the type of photos I am doing. I missed it last weekend and can't schedule deliveries during the week because of my work schedule so I had to wait an extra week because of that. It's true my night photos come out not so great in particular, my apartment doesn't have enough light. Also bought some little bells and used lace lining to make a cute little bell collar. It seemed appropriate with the cat ears. I love how it jingles every time I move him.

A girl?

Another of the shirts I got from Tokyo. I'm pretending it's a dress since it's long and I don't have any pants to match. The shoes I got for free from luts when I ordered the ears. They either forgot I had gotten an event gift already or they felt bad because the order took like two-three months.

Bed of Roses

My wreath came home today. The purple flowers in it smell amazing. They have a super strong and sweet smell. Only Leon deserves a bed of roses.


Some of the flowers changed colors a lot as they wilted. One of them went from orange pink to purple!


He sure looks comfortable.

Playing with Friends

Leon went to play with his friends again today. His friends molds are luts Mia and Dream of Doll Luke. He is a luts bory. Night photos never come out well. Super shakey with no flash and flash murders them.


He looks so tiny next to a 70cm doll.


Weird happenings where my finger is in front of the flash. Other than me being temporarily blind. How nice to get a picture that isn't flashed out or blurry though.

Flower Arrangements in Parco

I set up a flower arrangement in Parco today, which is one of the big shopping malls. Several flower arrangement schools in the city did displays. It cost a lot but is an interesting experience. I made a wreath.

I decided to play with my doll head I got free from luts during the Christmas event. It was a super failure though ha ha. After blushing the face I had it how I wanted it but when I tried to draw the eyelashes with a water color pencil it kind of ended up scraping the sealant in a place I hadn't sprayed well. And so the left side of its face looks like it has eczema. Which distracted me from the fact that the eyebrows look terrible. Debating using this as an excuse to paint a giant tattoo on its face before I go research how to remove the paint and start over. I borrowed some eyes and hair for the photo yaaay. I learned a lot this time, I think I can do better next time. And maybe I'll actually plan the colors beforehand. :D

Leon's new sweater

I actually do have a bunch of new stuff I got in a box. Most of it cheap shoes and a cleaner wig in the same color. But the sweater was the cutest so I wanted to show it. If I can find a nice material for a hoodie I might have to use this one to make a pattern!


I always think the lighting is interesting when I put him near the window. Usually I am at work or asleep when there is daylight so I only get to play with it on the weekend.

I don't know. Blah. I slept a long time last night and now I am very awake. And pretty hungry. I bought some American pasta sauce at an import store and some Italian pasta. Of course since I have my gas turned off and I don't feel like waiting for a couple hours for it to start working again I'm going to try cooking it in a rice cooker. Yay for interesting experiments.

March Flower Arrangement

Today was the first Sunday of the month and was thus my flower arrangement class. The lesson today was what the teacher calls freestyle. It's definitely the most difficult flower arrangement to do for me because it's so open to what you can do. And you have to try and balance the flowers against each other and the side of the vase so it's always getting messed up!



My teacher did an arrangement for a funeral during the lesson downstairs. I took a picture because he's really good at it. I still have a lot to learn.

March Poster

I was eating balsamic vinegar Pringles again. Their pleasing sourness is growing on me. It's too bad they only sell the small containers here...and that I won't be able to eat these when I go back to America. Sadness.


New poster for March. Look at all the dolls. Yay, dolls. I have gazed at many of these dolls in stores. They are rather pricey and different than the type of doll I am used to. They have mask-like faces and I don't think they have any legs but just a bunch of wide-spread kimonos. I mostly just see the emperor-empress pair together.


Leon spam. I bought the pets expansion for Sims 3 last weekend. Today after working all day and fighting many fierce battles I decided to take my first steps towards creating an in-game horse ranch. No Paso Finos available but I made a pretty little palomino mustang.
